On Friday, we will be having a White Elephant Gift Exchange as part of our winter party. This is a fun activity and a great way to end the year! Each child should bring a used “present” that might bring some humor and laughter for the recipient. The idea is to recycle something he or she already has and would love to give away. Please remind your child that we are not talking about something valuable, but something that is taking up space in his or her bedroom. The gift can be wrapped in newspaper, as long as we cannot see what it is. Some examples from previous years are: a used CD, a princess tiara, a sock puppet, etc. We draw numbers to select the gifts.
