Fourth Grade Has a New Team Member!

November6

Mr. Surber announced some exciting news today to the parents as well as the fourth grade students. We will be adding a new member to our fourth grade team! Below you will see the email he sent today, introducing our new fourth grade instructional assistant, Mrs. Roca.

Dear Lower School Families,

I am pleased to announce that Mrs. Mariana Roca will be joining our faculty as the full-time instructional assistant in fourth grade.

Mrs. Roca brings to Laguna a degree in teaching English as a Second Language from CONSUDEC in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and a degree in Literary and Technical Translation from Universidad del Museo Social Argentino, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Mrs. Roca is thrilled to be joining the Lower School faculty. She brings with her a great energy and a focus on child development, especially in the areas of cognitive and social growth.

Adding Mrs. Roca to our faculty also brings shifting assignments in other classrooms:  Ms. Bomer, instructional assistant for grades 3 and 4, will now work as the instructional  assistant for grades 2 and 3. Mrs. Stockwell, instructional assistant for grades 1 and 2, will now serve as the full-time assistant for first grade.

Please join me in welcoming Mrs. Roca as she begins her work in the Lower School on Monday, November 9.

 My best,

 Andy
