Fourth Grade Citizenship Breakfast
Last Friday, the fourth graders hosted a breakfast in order to honor individuals who exemplify good citizenship to them. This was a culminating activity to wrap up our unit on citizenship. Each fourth grade student wrote an essay about their guest that was shared at this special event. We invited Waid Ibrahim as our keynote speaker to share his inspirational story about growing up in Ghana and leaving home at the age of ten to pursue his goal of becoming a professional soccer player.
