International Experience!

This year, we are privileged to have three international students in fourth grade. Our international students are quickly learning English. We are trying to learn some new words in Danish, Portuguese, and Chinese!

Book Hanger Project

To follow up on some of the terrific books students read over the summer, each student selected a character from one of the books he or she read. They created physical representations of the character and wrote about why the character was unique and/or interesting.

Neighborhood Stories

Students created drawings of their neighborhoods. Then, each students brainstormed about interesting, exciting, or unusual events that happened in that neighborhood. They each wrote a short story about one of the events.
