Today, students worked on solving word problems with division. They learned three different strategies: drawing pictures to solve the problem, using “friendly numbers” to find the solution, or the standard long division algorithm.                 

Last Wednesday night, the fourth grade students got a taste of what’s to come in fifth grade. They met Ms. Woodard, the fifth grade teacher, and learned about life in the fifth grade. The fourth graders asked great questions–they are excited about next year in the Middle School!
